Prime Minister Hassan Diab, appointed last December, has chosen his cabinet members while the nation continues with its months long protests. Many of the appointees are a part of the establishment which became a major focus of the protests. These appointments suggest that the unrest which began in October has no end in sight, placing Lebanon’s financial future in jeopardy.
